About Erin

I started doing photography roughly fifteen years ago, but for the last three years I have stepped away while I focused on teaching.  I have recently decided to re-enter the field.

My photography style is predominantly photojournalism.  Aside from formals, I tend to step away and capture the moments as they happen.  I find these genuine moments much more powerful and memorable than staged ones.

I am a very laid back person, and that reflects in the way I approach wedding photography.  If you have certain requested shots, I will do my best to accommodate, but you won't find me rushing you around or demanding we catch the light.  As a photographer, I want my role to be to capture your day, not dictate it.

I will happily work with all couples, regardless of race, religion, or sexual orientation.
